About the Event
Folks, we recruited a real political star for this event! Senator Slotkin won a hotly contested election in the fall of 2024 to hold a seat that was vacated by the retirement of Senator Debbie Stabenow, and she hit the ground running as a leader! Elissa regularly appears on national television news programs and has quickly become a vital voice for the preservation of democratic values (indeed, it is the Democratic Party that is the only party now promoting democratic values).
Senator Slotkin has an extraordinary background of service to our country. She was a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst and Department of Defense official, ending her career there as the acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs. She was awarded the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service.
