Caucus 2022
The 2022 Caucus is taking place on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 7 pm CT.
On Saturday, January 30th, the Iowa Democratic Party voted to allow virtual caucuses. In Polk County, 4 of our House Districts chose to stay in-person, while 12 will go virtual.

How to Caucus.
Step One: Find your House District. The recent redistricting may have changed your House District, precinct, or Caucus location. If you need help finding your proper House District, please CLICK HERE.

Virtual Caucus Info.
To participate in the Virtual Caucus you must submit a Caucus Check-in Form. These forms will remain open until February 7th at 7 pm CT however, we strongly recommend that you check in early to avoid wait times that evening. Sign up early with the links below and a Zoom link will be sent to you mid-day on Monday, February 7th.

If you desire to be a Central Committee member or alternate, a delegate or alternate to the Polk County Democratic County Convention, serve on one of the County Convention Committees or Platform Committee, or submit a platform resolution, you will have the opportunity to indicate on the check-in form.

Who can participate?
Iowans registered to vote at their current address and registered as Democrats can participate in their precinct caucus. If you are not a registered Democrat, you can register including changing your party affiliation to Democrat, at the link below. Young Iowans who will be 18 years old by November 8, 2022, may register and participate.
